Caring for YouCubes
🌞 Placement
✅ Keep your YouCube-Earth in bright or indirect light
❌ Don’t place it in dark corners - light keeps it healthy and strong
✅ Ideal for a desk, coffee table, center piece, pedestal or as a focal point
💧 Watering
✅ A 2ml watering syringe is supplied with your YouCube-Earth (attached at the back)
✅ Take extra precaution to water at the base of the plant only
✅ Apply 2ml of water once a week in winter and every 3rd day in summer
✅ Check moisture with a toothpick: if it feels damp, wait before watering again
❌ Overwatering is the most common cause of root rot.
🌿 Ongoing Care
✅ Gently brush or wipe leaves with a soft artist’s paintbrush if dust settles
✅ Remove dried leaves carefully using tweezers
✅ Trim overgrown shoots with clean scissors to keep the petite shape of the plant ensuring a balanced look
✅ Mature plants may be kept trimmed to claim their YouCube Earth as a forever home. They may be replanted into a larger pot or in the garden ~ allowing you to restart a fresh YouCube
🪵 Wood Care
✅ A YouCube-Earth requires minor TLC for a prolonged lifespan. Use fine grit sand paper and rub gently before applying a seal or clear varnish coat. This preserves the wood and keeps these cuties looking like new.
✅ Be adventurous, feel free to give your YouCube a complete make over - After sanding you may change the colour with paint, add some texture, diamanté or stickers - craft with love, infuse your YouCube, with your Own Energy!
